P.24 is a programming competition being held at the University of Southern California during E-Week. Unlike a traditional programming competition, the goal of P.24 is to create a complete application. Participants will be given 24 hours to complete their applications, at which time winners will be selected by a panel of judges. Between 50 and 70 students are expected to participate.
A theme/goal will be announced at the beginning of the competition.
Snacks and meals will be provided during the event.
The contest will begin Sunday, February 18th, at 12:00 PM (Noon) and end Monday, February 19th, at 12:00 PM (Noon). Judges will review submitted code for 2 hours, and prizes will be awarded at 2:00 PM on Monday.
P.24 will be taking place at Topping Student Center (TSC) on the main USC campus. We have reserved the entire building, which includes the conference rooms on the third floor (which will be converted to work rooms) and Internet access.
