Project Title : TubeSpace
Project Type : P2P Live Streaming of MultiMedia.
Current websites allow users to upload static multimedia content and users can connect to the server and view those streams from the server.
We would be building an application, which would allow users to host live streaming of multimedia, with an underlying P2P architecture. This will be integrated with popular chat applications like GTalk/Jabber which allows real-time feedback from peers, thus allowing a collaborative environment. Although live streaming is not a novelty, instant feedback is a great advantage in our application.
Possible applications : Classroom lectures, Live-Concert from your home etc.
Would you want an EC2/S3 account for this? It sounds like it would be a good application of the technology. — Trevor Johns 2007/02/18 14:26
